Warranty ActivationUpdated 6 months ago
All bikes purchased through City Grounds need to be assembled by a certified bike shop mechanic, as stated under the "Warranty" tab on the product's page. If the bike is not built by a certified bike shop mechanic, any warranty will be limited by the manufacturer. The manufacturer provides the warranty coverage for these bikes and in order to open up warranty claims we have to follow their guidelines in order to get things covered under their policy.
If your bike was not assembled at a certified bike shop, your bike is covered under a 'limited' warranty that only protects the fork and frame against manufacturing defects. The bikes we sell are not tuned at the manufacturing level and are only assembled enough for shipping purposes. Even parts that are pre-installed need to be checked/adjusted prior to riding. We understand that your bike was an investment and we encourage you to protect your investment against error by having it built/tuned at a shop. If anything is found defective by a certified bike shop, please have them contact us to work with the manufacturer to file a claim to get it replaced or reimbursed under their policy at that time.
